Usage

Internal use: For use in body cavities such as the abdominal cavity and thoracic cavity, to absorb blood and exudate, and maintain a clear surgical field.
Examples: Cesarean section surgery, liver surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and any open abdominal or thoracic surgery.
Severe wound care
Direct contact with open wounds: Used to handle large amounts of exudate wounds, such as: pressure ulcers, leg ulcers (such as venous ulcers), drainage fluid from postoperative incisions, traumatic wounds.
Its high absorbency can manage exudate, and its soft surface does not stick to new granulation tissue, reducing pain and damage during dressing changes.
Stopping bleeding and applying pressure
Used to cover the wound, providing gentle pressure to assist in stopping bleeding.

Instructions for use

1. Clean the Wound: Clean the wound area with saline or as directed by a healthcare professional.
2. Apply the Pad: Place the sterile abdominal pad directly over the wound.
3. Secure It: Use a strong medical tape (like hypoallergenic paper tape or silk tape) on all four sides to secure the pad. For areas that move (like a joint), you may need to use a gauze roll or elastic bandage to wrap around the body part and hold the pad firmly in place.
