IFU

1. Clean the wound: Before use, clean and disinfect the wound first, and ensure that the wound and the surrounding skin are clean and dry, which helps to improve the stickiness and fixation effect of the bandage and reduce the risk of infection.
2. Open the package: Take out the non-woven self-adhesive bandage from the sealed bag, and be careful not to touch the sticky surface of the bandage with your hands to prevent contamination.
3. Place the blood-absorbing pad (if necessary): If the wound is bleeding, you can first place the blood-absorbing pad on the wound, and then bandage it.
4. Wrap the bandage: Gently fix one end of the bandage on the skin near the wound, and then wrap the bandage evenly along the wound or the direction where it needs to be fixed. When wrapping, you should choose the appropriate wrapping method according to the shape of the injured part and the required fixing strength, such as ring, spiral, serpentine, etc. Generally, there can be slight overlap between each bandage to ensure that it is firmly fixed.
5. Adjust the tightness: During the wrapping process, pay attention to adjusting the tightness of the bandage, so that the bandage can stably fix the wound and dressing, but it should not be too tight to affect blood circulation. Usually, the tightness can be judged based on the skin color, temperature and feeling. If there are discomfort symptoms such as pale skin, cyanosis, numbness, tingling, etc., it means that the bandage is too tight and needs to be adjusted in time.
6. Fix the end of the bandage: After wrapping it to the appropriate position, tighten the end of the bandage slightly by hand to make it adhere tightly to the previous bandage layer. There is no need to use auxiliary tools such as scissors and tape to fix it. This is also a major advantage of non-woven self-adhesive bandages.

Precautions

1. Allergic reaction: If you experience skin allergies, itching, redness, swelling and other discomfort during use, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor in time.
2. Avoid washing: Non-woven self-adhesive bandages are generally not waterproof, so avoid contacting them with water or other liquids, otherwise it may affect the stickiness and elasticity of the bandage, resulting in a decrease in the fixation effect. If the wound needs to be kept dry, consider covering the outside of the bandage with a layer of waterproof material.
3. Expiration date: Pay attention to the expiration date of the bandage. Expired bandages may have problems such as reduced stickiness and aging of the material, which will affect their performance and effect. Therefore, products within the expiration date should be used as much as possible.
4. Do not reuse: Non-woven self-adhesive bandages are usually disposable products. Repeated use may increase the risk of infection, and their stickiness and elasticity will also decrease. Therefore, it is not recommended to reuse them.
5. Proper storage: Bandages should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature and humidity to avoid affecting their quality and performance.
