An ostomy bag is a collection system attached to a person to collect stool or urine. This bag is used after an ostomy surgery, which creates an opening-called a stoma, between the inside of the body to the outside.
Ostomy bag include one-piece closed pouch, one-piece drainable pouch, two-piece closed pouch, two-piece drainable pouch and urostomy pouch.
Ostomy bag is made of non-woven, high-resistance film and hydrocolloid barrier, with closure on drainable pouch and urine tap on urostomy pouch.

Indications For Use
Ostomy bags are used to collect waste from a surgically diverted biological system. The primary indications for an ostomy bag include colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, congenital anomalies, obstruction and fistulas and so on. 
The type of ostomy and the duration of its use (temporary or permanent) depend on the specific medical condition and the patient's overall health.
